Gers
ituated in the heart of the South West of France, near the Pyrenees and the Atlantic Ocean, the Gers enjoys an exceptional location.
This area, often referred to as the Tuscan Gers, contains hidden treasures.
You will be charmed by its art of living, its mild and clement climate, the warm welcome of the Gascons and their festive spirit.
Settling in the Gers means benefiting from a privileged setting, a dwelling with character and a preserved environment propitious for leisure and relaxation. Many people who come to the Gers choose to settle in characteristic traditional stone farmhouses, among the large open fields and gently rolling hills. In the Gers they look for the 'real France', and for leisure and relaxation. It is an area where one learns to take the time to live.

The Gers is also renowned for the quality of its local products and gastronomy. Food lovers and gourmets most certainly shall give in to foie gras, magrets, confits, pastis gascons and croustades, floc, Armagnac, Côtes de Gascogne wines….

Lastly, it is a rural area resolutely turned towards innovation and which offers very interesting prospects for economical development: its proximity with Toulouse which holds high-tech industries (aeronautics and space industries in particular), services, research centres, universities and higher education schools, reinforces its already growing appeal for companies.
