Originally from North Wales, Calvin moved to Ireland at the turn of the millennium. After working as an IT project manager in Cork City for nearly three years he relocated to West Cork with his family. “It's a completely different pace of life down here,” Calvin said. “With a young family I wanted to spend more time at home. Sally Ann and I met in West Cork, and we always said we'd move here eventually.”
Being situated in the rural south west of Ireland has proved no obstacle to setting up and running the business. Calvin has already worked with clients from Dublin, the UK and Australia as well as with local West Cork companies. “With the advent of e-mail and the Internet being away from urban centres isn't a problem. Our market is literally global.

It was with that in mind that Calvin Jones and his wife Sally Ann Lenehan-Jones set up CJ Writing (www.cjwriting.com) at the start of 2005. “I'd been writing feature articles, columns and short stories for publications here in Ireland and abroad for several years,” said Calvin. “Last year it struck me that there must be a host of organisations out there that could benefit from effective writing.”
