In January 1995 I decided to exchange the daily grind of big city life for the peace and tranquillity of south west France. I arrived in the Gers from rain-soaked London in search of a better way of life and a warmer climate.

I am a freelance translator and interpreter and also run language training courses for both companies and private individuals. Thanks to modern technology I am able to work from home, in the perfect setting.

I think the Soho Solo project provides great opportunities for networking and meeting people in the same situation as well as providing very useful resources and advice. I wish it had been in existence when I first arrived!
